More questions: 1) Will the EPS file Open and Print from the application that created it (Illustrator if a vector format image; PhotoShop if a raster format image)? 2) Will the FM file print without the EPS image(s)? 3) If #1 is yes and #2 is yes, then what is in the EPS files. Where were they created? Do they contain "editable" text? Could the EPS file(s) have been created on a different platform (i.e. Mac vs PC vs Unix) and/or if they contain fonts, are the fonts present on your system? 4) Continuing on #3 (if 1 and 2 are yes) try printing the EPS file(s), from the application that created them, to a PS file (using the Distiller PPD)? Does that work? Can you distill that PS file successfully? If yes, try placing the resulting PDF file into your FM doc -- will it print okay now?
