Ever since I've used FM, I've always kept the files for a single book in =20
ONE folder (Windows user). Although I know it is POSSIBLE to have abook =20
file point to files in multiple folders, it always seemed like a =20
file-management nightmare. I'm facing the prospect of a document =20
containing some chapters that must be in a different folder from the book =20=
=20
file itself and most of the other individual chapters.

My instinct tells me that this approach will work, provided the relative =20
locations, folders, and filenames remain the same (otherwise the book =20
file must be repaired or re-created).

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has had any experience with this and =20
be willing to share it.

(Background: The powers that be have decided to reorganize the network =20
folder/file structure for the company; I want to be prepared to state all =20=
=20
the consequences).
