archivists? the old Autonumber matrix discussion needs re-posting...

Does anyone on this list retain one or more copies of previous postings that
described Sandy Knox's elegant matrix approach to autonumbering?

I'll re-create it if I must but I've posted it to three different Framers
lists over the years, in varying length and complexity.
