Melissa, No, support for WMF previews for EPS files will not be appearing in FrameMaker 7. Although WMF previews are "legal" for EPS, support for them has been minimal and marginal at best, both on the producer side and the consumer side. Windows TIFF format previews (i.e., TIFF preview as part of the file itself, not in a resource fork on the Macintosh) is really the universal, cross-platform EPS preview format these days. It is rare for EPS producers to offer WMF, but not TIFF. - Dov At 4/12/2002 12:05 PM, Melissa Hellman wrote: >Framers, > >Does anyone (Dov? Lee? FM6 gives me a gray box in either case. I've been corresponding with the *other* software company about the possibility of adding a TIFF preview to EPS files. (It's not an issue in the Mac version, which uses a PICT preview that works in everything.) I'd like to be able to tell them that it won't be an issue anymore with the newest version of Frame. > >(An aside here: When I tried to use an EPS with WMF preview in Quark v4, the entire program crashed!
