It depends on the how the individual tools work with the FDK. In some cases you may be okay, in others you might not.

We are still using Frame 556 and have developed a number of tools using that
version's FDK. I am wondering whether, if we upgrade to Frame 7, all our
tools will still work or will we have to redo them using Frame 7's FDK?
