>Is there a way from the book to just update the one variable that has the >rev level? It's Monday, perfect for easy questions. But ask a harder question next time. :-) Here's how I do that (FM6): 1) Open one file in the book. 2) Change the revision level variable in that file. Save the file, LEAVE IT OPEN. 3) In the book, select all files except the one you just changed. 4) Select File menu -> Import -> Formats. Uncheck all boxes except the Variable Definitions box & hit Import. This won't touch your system variables (chapnum and the like) so it's safe. -- Larry Kollar, Senior Technical Writer, ARRIS "Content creators are the engine that drives value in the information life cycle." -- Barry Schaeffer, on XML-Doc ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
