I've encountered a puzzling problem from one of our clients, and am looking for solutions and ideas for work-arounds. The environment: FrameMaker+SGML 6.0 p405 (does not include very recent patch (yet)) Windows NT 4 and 2000 hosts HP 8550 Color laser printer (PostScript option installed, network connected, 128 MB RAM installed) Latest Adobe PS drivers (via the universal updater from Adobe) installed Issue: Client has a number of documents (all standard US Letter size) that contain multiple EPS images per page, imported by reference. Image file size varies from as small as 4 KB up to 8 MB. When printing, only the FIRST image on the page displays, regardless of the size of the images. There is no error message nor other indication that there is any problem except the missing images on the output page. For example, on a page with three small graphics (largest size of EPS file is 5.2KB) only one image prints. The same is true for a page with 20 images, the smallest is 6 KB and the largest is 1.2 MB. But the largest image is first and prints, while the others on the same page do not. Text is not affected, only the graphics. I have copies of these files, and do not have the problem using the same version of FrameMaker+SGML, an NEC 1800 printer (networked, 132 MB, PS option installed) from a Windows XP Professional system. All pages print completely from my environment. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? -- Lester --------------------------------------------------------------------- Lester C.
