Debbi To use EndNote with FrameMaker depends on how they use EndNote. Haven't' used EndNote for a while but found it to be a great product. It has several functions, most are irrelevant to FrameMaker -- or won't work with it. However, the copy and paste feature works equally well with either Word or FrameMaker EndNote copy and paste directions for Windows (similar for Mac): First, in EndNote, select the type of output wanted, e.g., APA style, alphabetical, second author alphabetical, last name first, etc. Next, highlight the selected EndNote entries or, to select all, press Ctrl+a, To copy, press Cntrl+k, Go to the FrameMaker (or Word) file, To paste into FrameMaker (or Word), press Cntrl+v. Voila! You should now have the complete bibliography nicely formatted with appropriate ordering, italics, etc. It's another matter if you need to cross-reference the entries with the text. Not sure how well cross referencing actually works in Word. But I suspect you will have to manually build each cross reference in the FrameMaker file. Also, every once in a while during the paste, FrameMaker picks up strange, undecipherable hieroglyphics in certain entries. Fortunately, these are usually only in the last entry and are easily deleted. Once in Frame, you will simply need to use the paragraph designer or catalogue to format. The website for EndNote says that some people have used it with Frame, but that they don't support it. Does anyone have experience using EndNote with Frame, or know of a similar product that I could recommend? Thanks!
