Cross posting

Just a thought on the issue. (BTW Cross posting sounds like either a
cranky writer or a kinky post hole digger.)

My solution is first to filter the posts for specific topics (ANN, ADV,
etc.), then filter by name of particular individual who is on the mark most
of the time.

Then I skim from time to time. Can only read about 5% of FU and 50% or so
of FF.

Next I archive by making a copy of all the posts and moving them into a
single mailbox sorted by date and time. Then I use the archive like a
single, great big digest. When I have a question I do a search on the
subject. This works very well as a starting point for solving problems and
learning new techniques.
