Just change the declaration at the beginning of the dtd to SGML. Et Voila. That's my understanding. After all, a valid XML DTD is a valid SGML DTD, just not necessarily the other way round. I'm sure others can tell you of the possible pitfalls and issues involved. (Dan? Lynne?) Eric L.
