Thomas, You are correct. Your CDROM has the updated version of FrameMaker(+SGML); you should obviously skip step (5). I don't know whether the manuals on the CDROM were updated wrt/ step (6). I am pretty sure that the CDROM does not have any newer version of the drivers or anything else per steps (1) through (3).
