Updated FM6 CD?

Concerning installation of FM(+SGML) 6.0 on Windows:

Dov Isaacs has recommended the following installation order
of FM, Acrobat and AdobePS (in short form):

1. Install the Adobe PS driver via the Universal Installer 1.0.2,
   downloadable from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/pdrvwin.htm

2. Install Acrobat 4.05a from the CD (FM6 or Acrobat4 CD, I assume).

3. Install "Update 2" for Acrobat 4.05, downloadable from 
   http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/85f6.htm

4. Install FrameMaker(+SGML) 6.0. Cancel out of the installation
   screens for both the Acrobat Distiller and the AdobePS driver. 

5. Install the FrameMaker 6 update, downloadable from 
   http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/8582.htm
   or the FrameMaker+SGML 6 update, downloadable from
   http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/8576.htm 

6. Download the Updated User Guide PDFs (fmmanual.zip) from
   http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/8656.htm
   and replace the corresponding files in the FM installation.

I have the following questions:
* The FM+SGML CD that I've received installs FM version 6.0p405.
  Does this mean I don't need the update in step 5 above?
* If the FM version has been updated on newer CDs, does this
  mean that we don't need the updates in step 3 and 6?
* Is the AdobePS driver installation from the newer CDs also
  updated with newer versions, or do we still need to perform
  step 1 and then cancel the installation in step 4?

I have already performed steps 1 to 4 on Windows 2000, discovering
that it seems to install the updated version of FM6. For the
benefit of other Windows users, I would like to know if newer FM6
CDs perhaps already contain all the updates we need, so that we
in fact could install everything right from the FM6 CD, instead
of the installation order described above?
