Jeremy, DW, Thanks for the alternatives to looking at the MIF file. Regarding EDD, I think it's prudent for me to leave that to the documentation specialists (which I am not, I'm suppose to be doing propellor-head stuff). I remember trying to look at EDD years ago, and it certainly seems like some serious study is needed to get into that. Looking at the html from mif2go, that looks like a viable alternative to looking only at mif. I've got a bit of a procedure already, though, for navigating mifs, so I'll stick with that for now. Since I'm quite comfortable with the editor "gvim", I can browse through multi-file grep hits quite easily using a grep-buffer plug-in. I can also look at the context of the cross-reference and locate the corresponding places in the fm file (using book-wide search). I suspect that the same can be done using mif2go's html output. Thanks again for the alternatives. Fred ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxx ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
