RE: Is there a way to change condition tag's name?

Hi Ananda,

A manual search and careful replace (with visual inspection to make sure
the MIF isn't being trashed) should do it. Sometimes editing MIF, you need
to delete sections. But in this case, just change the names of components,
it seems pretty painless, if tedious. I've done this to change names of
file components, and it's not that hard.

Again, I haven't tested this. But give it a go:

1. Create a simple Frame file from the Portrait template, add five or so
paragraphs, and tag two of them (discontinuous) with the condition COMMENT,
which is in the conditions list already.

2. Then save as MIF, open in Wordpad, search on COMMENT and change it to
COMMENT1. Make sure to examine the context of each instance to make sure
you're not touching something else.

3. Now resave the file, reopen in Frame, and check the result. It *should*
work; if so, you'll have hands-on experience.

4. If it does work, repeat with a two-condition file with several tagged
paragraphs, one of is tagged with both conditions. This lets you see the
MIF that results. Again, should work.

5. Let us know how it goes. :)
