I guess you have defined different character tags for the different font sizes
and then defined the variables as "<ProductSizeX>Product Name<Default P Font>"?
But, if the variables' font size matches the font size of the heading, why
do you include the size at all in the character tag? You could simply let the
font size default to the font size of the heading by setting it to "As Is"
in the character tag's definition.

Font size changes used in a character tag are transferred to a TOC.
Try to use the "As Is" setting for the font size in the character tag,
as explained above.
