Ta Dima, I'm doing lots of different workarounds ;-) to get acceptable Japanese online AND PDFs I can send to our Singapore printers that don't run to 90 Mb. Our clients luckily (we hope) all have Win95 J, so they will be able to use the PDFs made with the *methode-Dov*. I am using a cruddy old HP 4Si/4Si MX PS driver for the printer and breaking the book in 3 to reduce the size. But some good news for all of those who have to deal with double-byte languages is that Chinese S is a snack (well, so far ...) Roll on Acrobat 4 J > Hello John, > > I always used PS option for CJK TrueType as "Outline SoftFont. (non > as Type 42 or bitmap).
