RE: Japanese PDFs

John,
Are you using Japanese Postscript fonts that are not available or not
supported on the English NT system?  My guess would be that you are (just a
hunch).  The only way that I have been able to create Japanese pdf's that
can be viewed on an English system is to use true type fonts and set the
driver to print true type fonts as either bitmaps or Type 42.  This will
create great big pdf's that are basically just pictures of each page, with
no text searchability on the Japanese system.
