Debbie,

What a few folks have left out of their explanation is that only the
paragraph tags that appear in your first file will be selectable in the PDF
Settings window.

In our local procedure, we have the following steps (after quality check,
before printing to PDF):
- Open TOC, LOT, LOF, IX files
- Open cover page (or VERY first document in book)
- Import only the paragraph tags from the TOC, LOF, LOT, IX files to the
cover page. (repeat for each file)
- Save and close the cover page
Then go on to regenerate, and then Print to PS, fixing the Acrobat setup
and generating Acrobat data. [Note that you'll only need to do the
preliminary steps above once for each book.]
