Hi all: If your company is considering a DITA implementation with FrameMaker (or even without FrameMaker but with a CMS), you may want to catch up with these folks at the conference. The Adobe team discussed in this online case study -- http://www.adobe.com/products/framemaker/pdfs/AdobeOnAdobe_SS_m_ue_Fnl.pdf -- will be presenting at the FrameMaker 2005 Chautauqua. Kevin Susco will be presenting on Adobe's own use of DITA and FrameMaker, and one of his team members will be on hand. (Also coming to the Raleigh conference are two members of Adobe's FrameMaker team from California and one from the team in India.) Idiom Technologies, the CMS company that worked with Adobe on this DITA implementation project, will also be on hand at the conference to answer questions regarding the case study and FrameMaker+DITA. Bright Path Solutions also provided consulting and training services for Adobe's implementation, and will be on hand to discuss DITA hotpoints and our services. David Schell *himself* will be presenting a new introduction to DITA that may be useful to those of you considering this structure. Dave's presentation will be generic in discussing tools. If you don't know who DAVE SCHELL is, you need to GOOGLE him. Also look for names like DON DAY and MICHAEL PRIESTLEY. Last but certainly not least, "Featured Speaker" Bernard Aschwanden has recently completed some DITA work with CMS cmpany SiberLogic, and Bernard and SiberLogic will also be at the conference and available for querying.
