RE: Strange Frame Clipboard Bug

Perhaps I'm being a bit dense, but I find myself wondering why anyone would
want to paste text from a text line (A tool) into the Find/Change dialog,
since A-tool text isn't searchable anyway. Are we counting angels on the
head of this pin?

This may be a platform-related issue. Using the A tool, I tried it on the
Mac and it works fine. I was could use either Ctrl+v or Paste from the menu.
I am using FrameMaker 7.0.

Actually, it's not normal at all. It should work by right+clicking and
choosing Paste, or by pressing Control+V when the Find/Change dialog has
focus. Also, it works with paragraph text, so focus is not an issue.

To summarize, text copied from text lines cannot be pasted in Windows
FrameMaker dialog boxes.
