Re: Problems with FM 6.0 installation

There are actually two versions of ATM 4.0, ATM 4.0 for Windows'95
and ATM 4.0 for Windows NT 4. If you install ATM 4.0 for Windows NT 4,
on Windows 2000 or XP, you will have problems with OpenType CFF fonts
as well as some possible power management problems on certain laptop
computers. It is not recommended. ATM 4.0 for Windows'95 actually
destroys your Windows 2000/XP configuration. Don't even attempt to
install it because it makes assumptions that the system architecture
is that of Windows'9x/Me which is very, very different than that
of Windows 2000/XP.

For Multiple Master support under Windows 2000/XP, use ATM Light 4.1
or ATM Deluxe 4.1.
