Re: More on the reports I am working on



Another one we've found here with trying to align columns (to mimic 
80-column screen output) is you get this effect if you have some lines 
ending with a regular Return and others with a Shift+Return. 
Shift+Return gives better results, but you get stuck of course with an 
empty line at the end.

This happens with Courier even when the Paragraph Designer is set to 
Kerning off, 0% Spread, 100% Stretch, and Word Spacing minimum, maximum 
and optimum all at 100%, i.e. when it looks as if it all should behave 
like an 80-column printer. Hard spaces help a bit.

I've seen that since FrameMaker 4, and it's still there in 7.0 p576.
