I wasn't writing reviews, actually. I was just providing descriptive information on what was available, how much it cost, and where to get it. Some of the descriptions, though, were pretty damned skimpy, and some weren't as up-to-date as they could be. The information wasn't accurate; that was the major complaint and it was a just one. I'm working to resolve that issue. In the meantime, can we all please just let the subject drop? I've appreciated the kind words and support I've been receiving, but the controversy is getting to be a bit much, and it certainly takes away from the real purpose of both these lists--to share information and help with Frame. Thanks again. *hoping this thread dies a quiet death, and soon* On 24 Sep 2002 at 10:49, Stephen Harris wrote: > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Lin Sims" <linda.sims@verizon.net> > > > It seems that I have unintentionally stepped on a few toes when I > > offered to share my list of available tools with the FrameMaker > > I just happened to think that since this is an international mailing > list that some of the remarks I made in my last post on this subject > may not be appropriate for another culture/country with different > laws. > > The United States has free speech written into the Constituition.
