Generated File Causes Crash

NT 4.0; FM 6.0

I've got a ~200 page book with 11 files. I added a added a list of
alphabetic markers (Glossary). The file generates OK, but when I save it I
get the "Internal error .... send the crash log to Adobe" message. 

If I save the file as MIF, then resave as ALM (the default extension) it's
OK. But I have to do this after each regeneration. 

Has anybody else experienced this?
