Hi Chris, In the FrameMaker book dialog, there are 4 icons in the lower right edge. The tool tip text for the first icon toggles between "Show Heading Text" and "Show Filenames". This must be set to display the filenames, not the heading text. I think yours is showing the heading text rather than filenames. I can't see that there's any other way to access this feature. And unfortunately, other than the icons and the tool tip that changes, there's no way to detect what the setting is. (fwd) Hi Framers: In some of our documents, when I try to rename a file, edit --> rename or f2 in the book window, I get the message "The text cannot be changed. To change the name of this file, first display filenames." How does one "display" filenames? When filenames are not being displayed, what is? It does appear true however that in the case of certain books, something other than the filename, maybe the first line of the file, is being shown. Thanks.
