William: Don't bother to set up Word styles manually. If you already have a FrameMaker file with the para and char tags you need, save as Japanese RTF (the other converter crashes FM), open in Word, save as native *.doc or even *.dot. You may then only have to set up the autonumbering styles in Word (with the caveats included in the previous messages) and you are set to go.
