But I can't seem to find an answer. I am making a LOF which looks just fine except that I can not get it to sort properly, or at least the way I want. The figure tag looks like this: (Autonumber) F:Figure <n+>.\t I would like the output to be: A... B... C... I.e., alphabetical by the caption of the figure. But what it does is list them by the number of the figure which makes no sense if you are trying to find a particular subject's pix. It is not displaying the running "Figure X." at least, but it is a hodge podge of V before A with C after E, etc. I've played all the tricks I can think of and have looked around and I can't find a reference to this that works.
