Subject: RE: Inconsistent message pop ups in Frame - Using the FDK

I posted this question before but did not indicate that I was creating an exe using the FDK to do my printing. I am just wondering if there is anyone out there who knows of a way to do this programmatically. F_ApiSilentPrintDoc() for some reason does not in fact print silently as it still pops up the modal dialog box. Most SDK's that I have worked with have a switch to turn off user notices, I am surprised that you do not seem to be able to do so for Frame. I would appreciate any help/advice you could offer. Thanks Sue PS I do already import the Conditional Text settings from the cover file onto all the other files in the book, but the problem is that some writers seem to have inherited Conditional Text that they know nothing about. So when importing, if the cover file doesn't have one of the conditions that exist in the other files then that condition is left alone and that is what is causing the errors. In other words doing the import doesn't remove any conditions only adds a new one or modifies ones that are the same in the two files. > -----Original Message----- > From: Mitchell, Sue > Sent: Monday, March 18, 2002 10:50 AM > To: Framers (E-mail) > Subject: Inconsistent message pop ups in Frame > > When printing a Frame file to Distiller to generate a PDF, Frame sometimes > pops up a modal message box indicating Inconsistent Colors or Inconsistent > Conditional Text settings.
