There are likely two separate problems here: The first is that somehow, on your system, the file "header.ps" is missing from where it normally should be located, typically in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\FrameMaker\fminit", "fminit" subdirectory of the directory into which you install FrameMaker or FrameMaker+SGML. A reinstallation of FrameMaker should fix this. The second problem is related to the system spooling subsystem which should not be failing, regardless of what happens to a FrameMaker or any other print job. (The fact that you see similar -- I assume -- problems, i.e., the spooler shutdown -- in other applications would lead me to believe that this is not just FrameMaker somehow confusing the print subsystem.) I would check to make sure that you are on SP2 (Service Pack 2) of Windows 2000. I recall that there were some fixes put into the spooling subsystem in either the first, second, or both service packs. - Dov At 3/20/2002 09:58 AM, Berman, Robert wrote: > >I'm having intermittent problems printing from Framemaker 6.0 (Windows 2000 >Platform).
