Framers, [ ref: Frame 6, win 2000, Acrobat 4.0 ] I have an annoying problem that I haven't been able to resolve. In summary, I am getting unwanted bookmarks from one file (the TOC) in my book. At the top of my bookmark list (in the pdf file) there are 13 unwanted bookmarks. These are Table of Contents, Figures, Tables, and 10 chapter numbers (yes, just numbers, no text). All 10 chapter number bookmarks have plus signs indicating sublevels. All remaining bookmarks beyond these (unwanted 13) are valid and they work as expected, meaning they link to the appropriate chapter. The unwanted 13 bookmarks do not work and do not have sublevels, even though the plus mark symbols are present. I do know that these 13 bookmarks are coming from the TOC file, but I do not know why or how to get rid of them. By the way, the next two chapter bookmarks appearing below the dreaded 13 are the real Figures and Tables... and they work fine. In my book TOC file, chapter numbers appear on the left followed by their chapter titles to their right. First, second, and third level heads are appropriately indented below the chapter title. The bookmarks are set up to only show only one tag, "chaptertitle." All chapter titles are tagged "chaptertitle" (including the TOC, figures, and tables). I've been fighting with this so long that I am probably not seeing something really obvious. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help.
