Re: Can FM Conditional Text be ANDed?



The key is that multiple condition tags can be simultaneously applied to 
the same text.

To solve the dilemma you describe,you must create three conditional text 
definitions, A, B, and AB

Apply both the A and AB tags (i.e., move both tags into the IN list) to 
text for text with condition A AND B, and apply both the B and AB tags to 
text for condition B AND A. Text for which only condition tag A or tag B is 
applicable, do not get condition tag AB applied to them.

Now, if you hide tags AB and A and show tag B, only text with tag B will 
appear. If you hide tags AB and B and show tag A, only text with tag A will 
appear. If you show tag AB and hide tags A and B, only text with tag AB 
will appear.
