Follow-up:

Anybody have any bright ideas as to how to propagate a variable name change
throughout numerous documents? You can change a variable name in one document
and all instances of the variable will be updated to the new name. But if the
variables are imported into another document, you end up with two separate
variables.

Is there a plugin?
