RE: Keyboard Shortcut for Paste Special | Text?

Assuming you are running on a platform which uses a maker.ini file,
and assuming that you are talking about content coming from
applications other than FrameMaker, my best advice to you is to
change the priority order for what format to use for content that
is coming through the clipboard. Open maker.ini with a text editor
and look for the item ClipboardFormatsPriorities and move the
TEXT item from its dead-last position to first or second in the list.

On the other hand, if you are trying to paste FrameMaker content
as plain text, you should look into defining a custom keyboard
shortcut (e.g. an F-key) for the Paste Special command. Check
out the Customizing_Frame_Products.pdf file that should be in
the omanuals (FM5) or OnlineManuals (FM6) folder within your
FrameMaker installation directory.

My opinions only; I don't speak for Intel.

Subject: Keyboard Shortcut for Paste Special | Text?

Fellow Frame Folks:
Is there a keyboard shortcut for Paste Special | Text? Doing this manually
is killing me. Alternatively, is there a way to put this command on the
button-bar?

Thanks,

Karl
