I believe that in FM 6.0 you can have multiple volumes in a book.  The
volumes would correspond to your parts.  [Can someone with access to FM 6.0
please confirm this.]  So perhaps your cheapest option, offsetting the
hassles of generating multiple ToCs frequently against the convenience of a
single Generate/Update, might be to upgrade.
