Re: LOT gen'd from file omits chap num



You've identified the difference: Page numbers in LOTs, TOCs, LOFs, etc. are
not derived from the running header/footer, they're derived from the book
file setup, where you can specify a chapter/appendix number prefix.
Consequently, no prefix is produced when you generate a standalone LOT for a
standalone file. If you want to produce a standalone LOT for an appendix,
create a second book file that contains only the appendix (any file can
exist in any number of book files). In the new book file, specify the prefix
"A-".
