Help, guyz, what'd I do wrong??? Was there an UNinstallation step I missed? --snipped, attachments removed, & lightly edited-- I *just* got my 4.0.5 CD today.... I uninstalled Acrobat 4.0, then installed Acrobat 4.0.5, then immediately downloaded and installed the PostScript 5.1.2 driver. (aps512eng.exe) Now, whenever I try to print, FrameMaker crashes with an internal error. According the printer properties dialog, the printer driver is "AdobePS HP LaserJet 5si". I tried changing the printer driver to use the "HP LaserJet 5Si/5Si MX PS" driver, and got only slightly better results. Frame does not crash immediately, but I get the error message "Cannot print because FrameMaker cannot locate FrameMaker printer configuration file header.ps." <I checked the Framer's archives and all the mentions of header.ps that I found were pretty old -- with solutions of updating ?Acrobat? from v.3 to v.4.> I tried changing the printer to the Acrobat Distiller, and again got an internal error and Frame crash. So what the hey is wrong and how do I fix it?!?!? ---end snip--- I *thought* I'd kept all of Dov's, Lee's, & Shlomo's missives on dealing with 5.1.2 painlessly, but I must be missing some.... --Ananda Stevens ananda.stevens@windriver.com ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
