Re: Two ?s: enabling Undo; FM scrolling behaviour when text is selected

I can't speak to your FDK question; the multiple undo hasn't been added to the product because of engineering difficulties, which may indicate that it's not possible under FDK.

Moving to a new location while leaving the insertion point unchanged (scrolling by scroll bars, or by View > Go to Page from the menu or by keystroke shortcut) works as you describe, namely, any keystroke that affects the document (not Shift, Ctrl, Escape, etc) returns the view to the location of the insertion point. Unchanged through v. 7.1, AFAIK.

Good day, Framers!

1.) Assuming that action T is one that the user would
typically be able to undo, is it possible to enable
Undo for T if it is performed by an FDK client? The
API declares at least one function related to a
"checkpoint".

2.) In FM 5.5.6... If text is selected, then the user
uses the mouse and the horizontal scrollbar to move to
a distant position in the document, the first click in
the distant position results in the document view
being moved back to the selected text range. Is this
behaviour common to all versions of FM?
