RE: framers-digest V1 #1106



Actually, I would never recommend ZIP for "monochrome" images. CITT Group 4
should work just fine. We know of no problems associated with that compression
either in distillation and/or display in Acrobat or Reader. I suspect that
there is another variable that you haven't tracked down yet.
