Adobe's font demon is as persistent as Microsoft's talking paper clip, but I slew the demon once and for all. Due to various repairs, upgrades and emergency triage over the years, I've ended up with a PC that does not have Type 1 Times font. This is, of course, the standard built in to FM. After having exhausted all attempts at finding where Times is used, I MIF'd the files and found the bugger hiding in some default table formats where I replaced it with Type 42 TNR. Thought that would kill this multi-headed hydra, but it kept coming back!!! Then I found the little demon in the .book file itself, where it was then imparting its demon seed into generated files added to the book. MIF'd them all and I think I've killed this monster for good. (But isn't that what they said about Frankenstein?) For anyone who wants to do this, search the MIF for both Times. and Times' (note the punctuation marks after the word) and you will find all entries.
