RE: adjusting ruling lines in headers/footers

Linda,

Ruled lines, whether on the Reference Page or drawn on the Body Page,
should be adjusted for precise length by using the Graphics menu pull-down,
clicking Object Properties, and typing in or adjusting the length exactly,
according to the measuring unit selected in your preferences. Changing the
length setting in the upper-left of the Object Properties dialog box will
adjust line length in either case. This adjustment will work whether the
line is horizontal, vertical, or on an angle, as long as the line has not
been grouped. Good luck.

Subject: adjusting ruling lines in headers/footers

hi folks
I am trying to adjust the length of a ruling line in a running header in a
set of templates I've inherited. having trouble finding where to update the
graphic/settings.

is paragraph designer: Advanced tab>Frame below> the right place to add the
line?

if so, should I be adjusting the length of the Single Line on the reference
page?

thanks in advance,
Linda Jackson
