But, if the next version of FM isn't due for 2 years anyway, why do you care if
FM dies? The only reason you should be worried is if FM doesn't do something you
absolutely need. And if does lack some must have feature, then what are you
doing using it now?

Do you worry about the fact that the computer on your desk will be obsolete in a
month? Of course not. It does what you need of it for now, so you stay with it.
and, you stay with it until it no longer serves your requirements. Until your
needs change looking for replacements is an absolute waste of time and
resources.

PS: Is it just me or are FM users all related to Chicken Little? Remember what
happened to them all (Lucky Ducky, Loosey Goosey, ...)? Foxy Loxy ate them all
for their stupidity (Ah, the days when children's stories held no punches to
make a point).
