I have to make a comment to this last point. An important reason why
using a 3rd-party macro tool is a bad idea is that they're all
incompatible; you cannot take a macro and use it with another system.
The UNIX version of FM still contains a macro-recording function,
so that you can benefit from other users' macros. If Adobe could be
convinced to port this to Mac/Windows, ALL users could use and exchange
the SAME macros.

The argument that "there are already lots of existing macro packages"
is moot, IMHO. The same could be said about ALL requested functionality
in FM, and development of FM could simply stop. (Not that version 6.0
gives impressions of high-speed development within Adobe, but still :-)
