Ron, Did you paste something into the chapter from another application? Try: A) 1) File... Generate.... LIST -> LIST OF REFERENCES ... Generate Put "Fonts" in the INCLUDE column. Turn ON Create Hyperlinks (use later with CRTL ALT clicking) 2) Try this while VIEW is on a) Body Pages, b) Master Pages, c) Reference Pages. B) If that does not find the problem (and it did NOT for me once), then... 1) SaveAs your file as MIF format (change to MIF in the drop-down in the SaveAs dialog box. SAVE IT AS A DIFFERENT FILE NAME. BE VERY CAREFUL. 2) Open the MIF version of the file in a text editor or word processor. You can open in it Frame itself, as plain text if you HOLD DOWN THE SHIFT KEY WHEN YOU HIT THE "OPEN" BUTTON. 3) Use Frame's search to search for the NAME of the missing font. You are searching plain text for plain text "Times-Roman" (or whatever). 4) You will probably find that it is something weird like the default font in an UNUSED para or char tag. Or the default font of a table tag. Good luck. Jay -- Jay Smith e-mail: Jay@JaySmith.com Jay Smith & Associates P.O.
