I'm simply providing a few facts (unavailable on the bradlist) about the
quality of service so that the "invisible hand" has a chance to work.

Here are the facts about the recent outage:

1. From Friday evening until Monday at mid-morning, nothing was received.

2. On Monday, 17 messages were received, including one from Brad stating
that head had "cleared the queue", presumably meaning that all the mail sent
over the weekend was dumped.

3. On Tuesday, 1 message from David Wraight was received, and that one was
posted by Wraight at about 5:30 PM on Monday.

These facts are irrefutable, and the type of outage described above happens
almost every weekend. Now, ask yourself this question:

Why doesn't Brad ever send anything to the list when the list
goes down, indicating when the list will be up again, and
aplogizing for the inconvenience? And why does he relentlessly
suppress any complaints about the quality of list service?
