Importing Word tables into FrameMaker? The TableCleaner plugin solves two
big problems with Word tables.

First, Word tables import with Custom Ruling and Shading applied to every
cell. This prevents ruling and shading changes from being made through the
Table Designer. Removing the overrides can only be done manually through the
Custom Ruling and Shading dialog. TableCleaner gives you THREE ways to
remove table overrides: (1) From selected cells; (2) From the entire table
containing the cursor; and (3) From EVERY table in the document.

Second, Word tables import into FrameMaker without true heading rows.
TableCleaner allows you to quickly convert selected body rows into heading
rows. The row content is automatically transferred to the new rows! You can
also convert selected body rows into footing rows.
