Frame SaveAs HTML and Symbols

Frame-sters,

How do I get my symbols to come across to HTML when I use the SaveAs HTML function in FrameMaker 5.5.6? They are tagged with a char tag called Symbol which has everything set to As Is except for the font, which is set to Symbol.

I can't find anything on this in the scanty HTML documentation. I know the char tags are defined on the HTML ref pages, but what are the valid settings?
