I was asking a question of the network support guys here at Medtronic some time back and saw a 10 ft. bookshelf of manual-sized cardboard boxes that were all covered with dust outside of their offices. I opened one of the boxes and inside were all the shrink-wrapped manuals that came with FM 5.0/5.1. I routinely distributed these to the folks who I support, but when net-help moved their offices they disposed of all this "extraneous" documentation. Crazy world where so much money is spent on product and then the instructions are never delivered to the user. ("Use the On-line he'p, dammit!") These were the last Frame Technologies versions of the docs, and they are very good, though the cover design is not nearly as good as Adobes. It is as good as or better than Neuburger's book and has a lot more detailed information than Neuburger's book or Adobe's current manual. ... Also, version 5 of Frame used to come with a quick reference book that had quick procedures and all the keyboard and escape-key commands listed, as well as character sets. If you can locate these two books you should be in good shape. -- Pat Fortino U S WEST --unsnip--- ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
