But there is a kludge and all works fine, and here's what you do: (Acknowledgement: Schlomo Peretz first posted this fix.) You need to create a dummy character tag which we'll call "dummy" to make you feel better. It doesn't alter the appearance of the text (unless you want to). Say that the text of the hot spot is "[0]". you then alter your IX paragraph text in the "IX" frame of the Referemce page to: <dummy>[0]<Default Para Text> where "Para" is of course the Para glyph (<Control>q <shift>q). In the HTML Mapping Table insert a line: C:dummy FONT N N and Voila!
