Subject: Conditional IndexIX tag makes hyperlinks disappear

I was trying to make page locators for index entries disappear in the HTML version of my document by making the <$pagenum> entry in the IndexIX paragraph tag on the index reference page both conditional and hidden. A similar approach worked fine for the TOC. However, when I generated the index, I found that only the first index entry was a link back into the text (both in the HTML version and the FrameMaker source file). Anyone know why this is true? What approach works to hide index page locators in the HTML version of a FM document while keeping the entries "hot"? Ezra P.S. I am on the digest, so please cc me if posting directly to the list. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ezra Steinberg Resonate, Inc.
