XML and the Second Generation

The May issue of Scientific American contains an excellent article on XML by
Boasak and Bray, two of the W3C luminaries who developed the language. Their
clearly written explanation, combined with the stature of the magazine,
might be just the ticket for managers who look at you cross-eyed whenever
